So last Thursday Josh and I were in small claims court. We were sueing our past tenants from our duplex in bountiful for over $4,000 in late rent, repairs and new carpet. After weeks of stressing over going in front of a judge to plead our case, the judge heard our side of the story and saw our pictures, invoices and all the evidence we could come up with and awarded us all we were asking for!
I've realized that many things are not as scarry as they seem when you are right and have the proof to defend yourself.

that is crazy!!! glad you were able to get your money. so sad people take advantage of others.
I'm glad you got your money, but sorry you had to go through all that. Renting can be a scary thing, you never know what will happen with rental properties.
