Spanglishbookstore.com

Josh just this past week launched his very own online books store! We are very excited and hope that all his hard work will pay off.
Josh has been selling spanish and bilingual books at our preschool book fairs for the past year. He has been really successful with them. So he decided that the next logical step would be to sell his books on line.
So if anyone is interested in Spanish or Bilingual books come and take a look.
We'll ship to you where ever you are! We think that the site is really easy to use but any feed back you might have would be greatly appreciated!
OK so go and check out the books at www.spanglishbookstore.com

Also the first week of December Josh will be doing his very first book fair for an entire bilingual elementary here in SLC! Wish us luck on that one too! We'll keep you posted to tell you how it turns out.

Dual Immersion Academy Grand Opening

Tonight was the ribbon cutting for the new Dual Immersion Academy (DIA), a brand new charter school in Utah. Spanglish Books had a booth there and we got to talk to a lot of the parents of the new students as well as the teachers. Governor Huntsman was there to give a little speech and cut the ribbon. It has been pretty amazing to see the evolution of this school and to see how far it has come. We are excited to see how it works out over the next few years and would like to put our future children in the school. Channel 2 was on the scene as well as other media, so keep an eye out...you might see us!

Se venden libros

Today Josh's company, Spanglish Books, had a book fair at Sabrina's Spanish immersion preschool. It has been so much fun to be able to meet people who are trying to teach their children Spanish and to be able to recommend books to them. It's pretty hard to find used Spanish books, so that's one thing that we really try to keep in stock. We also have a lot of new Bilingual and Spanish-only books. The business is still pretty small, but there is huge potential here in Utah. Check out the website at www.spanglish-books.com.
